Many women expect Libida® to create an immediate physical urge or dramatic change in desire. In reality, female sexual desire is influenced by many physical, emotional, and neurological factors, and Libida® is designed to support those natural pathways rather than override them.
Give Yourself Time
While some women notice changes after their first dose, others experience more gradual improvements over several weeks.
If you're taking Libida® every 72 hours, try to remain consistent before deciding whether it's working. Subtle improvements often become more noticeable over time.
Focus on the Entire Experience
Rather than asking yourself, "Do I suddenly feel in the mood?" try paying attention to what happens once intimacy begins.
Many women notice improvements such as:
Feeling more emotionally connected
Becoming mentally engaged more easily
Feeling more present during intimacy
Becoming aroused more naturally
Enjoying intimacy more than before
These changes are often a better measure of how Libida® is working than waiting for an immediate physical urge.
Take It Correctly
For the best absorption:
Allow the tablet to dissolve completely under your tongue.
Do not chew or swallow the tablet.
Avoid eating or drinking immediately afterward so the medication has time to absorb.
Proper absorption helps ensure you receive the intended dose.
Minimize Alcohol Around Dosing
Alcohol may reduce your ability to notice the full benefits of Libida® and can also increase side effects such as dizziness or nausea.
When possible, try using Libida® with little or no alcohol.
Choose the Right Time
Many women find they notice the best results when they are:
Well rested
Less stressed
Emotionally relaxed
In an environment where they feel comfortable and connected
Stress, fatigue, anxiety, and nervous system overload can all affect sexual desire, regardless of medication.
Consider Consistent Every-72-Hour Dosing
Although Libida® can be used on demand, some women experience greater benefit when using it consistently every 72 hours.
A regular schedule may help support:
Emotional openness
Mental interest in intimacy
Connection with a partner
Overall receptiveness
Your provider may recommend either approach based on your goals.
If You're Also Using Oestra®
Many women find Libida® works particularly well alongside Oestra®.
While Libida® supports the brain pathways involved in desire, Oestra® addresses hormonal contributors that may also affect libido.
Together, they may provide more comprehensive support than either treatment alone.
What If You Still Don't Notice a Difference?
If you've been using Libida® consistently, following the dosing instructions, and still haven't experienced meaningful improvement, don't give up.
Some clients may benefit from trying two Libida® tablets during the same dosing session, but only after following guidance from the Client Experience or Clinical Team.
If this approach is recommended:
Wait the full 72 hours after your previous dose.
Allow the first tablet to dissolve completely under your tongue.
Then place the second tablet under your tongue and allow it to dissolve completely.
Do not take Libida® more frequently than every 72 hours.
This approach simply evaluates whether a higher single dose provides a better response - it is not intended to increase how often you take the medication.

Remember: Progress Isn't Always Dramatic
Many women describe the changes with Libida® as subtle at first.
Instead of a sudden surge of desire, you may notice:
Thinking about intimacy more often
Feeling more receptive to affection
Becoming interested more easily
Feeling emotionally closer to your partner
Enjoying intimacy more once it begins
These gradual changes often reflect the way female desire naturally develops and can become more noticeable with continued use.
Bottom Line
The most successful experiences with Libida® often come from combining consistent use, proper dosing, realistic expectations, and an environment that supports intimacy.
If you have questions or feel your results aren't where you'd like them to be, we're always here to help. Your care team can work with you to determine whether adjustments or additional recommendations may improve your experience.
