Spotting or light bleeding is common in the first few months of treatment and usually nothing to worry about. It’s your uterus reawakening and responding to hormonal support.
What’s normal (and temporary):
Breakthrough bleeding or two periods in one month
A heavier-than-usual flow at first
Spotting between periods
If bleeding feels heavier than spotting or lasts longer than usual:
Pause Oestra® until bleeding stops.
Restart once bleeding ends.
Consider adding methylated B vitamins, iodine, and magnesium to help your body metabolize estrogen more efficiently and promote a calmer uterine lining.
Want to Avoid Bleeding Altogether?
Lowering your dose to ½ pump daily often helps minimize bleeding.
Staying at a lower dose can prevent uterine stimulation while maintaining hormonal balance.
🩺 When to Check In:
If bleeding doesn’t taper after three cycles — or becomes heavier — it could be related to thyroid function or fibroids. Our clinical team can review your symptoms and guide next steps, including lab testing if needed.
