Oestra® is designed to work with your body — not against it. Whether you’re balancing cycles, easing symptoms, or supporting long-term health, it gently restores bioidentical hormones in the right ratios to help your body find balance again.
This guide explains how to cycle with Oestra®, what to expect at different life stages, and when to reach out for additional clinical support.
Why Oestra® Affects Your Cycle
Oestra® replenishes key hormones that naturally decline with age or stress. As balance returns, it’s normal to see temporary changes in your cycle — lighter periods, irregular spotting, or in some cases, no bleeding at all.
This doesn’t mean something is wrong. In fact, it’s often a positive sign that your uterus and hormone receptors are “waking up” and responding again after years of low hormones.
Over time, most women notice that bleeding becomes lighter, shorter, or less frequent — a reflection of improved hormone stability.
How to Cycle with Oestra©
Your first day of bleeding is considered Day 1 of your natural cycle. In practice, you should not apply the cream during active bleeding. Instead, begin once your period has finished.
Step 1: Start after your period ends
Once your bleeding has fully stopped (or is only light spotting), begin applying Oestra® daily.
Step 2: Continue daily use through Day 27 (counting from Day 1)
Apply the cream every day through Day 27 of your cycle.
Step 3: Take a 2-day pause
After Day 27, take 1 day off to allow your body a hormonal reset.
Step 4: What to do next
• If you do not bleed → Restart Oestra® after the pause
• If you do bleed → Wait until bleeding has stopped (or is light spotting), then restart
Things to Know
No bleed? Totally fine. It means your hormones are balanced and your uterine lining didn’t need to shed.
Lighter periods (1–4 times per year): A sign of healthy balance — Oestra® is supporting progesterone and keeping estrogen in check.
Still ovulating? Yes. Oestra® supports your natural rhythm and doesn’t suppress ovulation like birth control.
You don’t need monthly bleeding. Around 4–5 light “withdrawal bleeds” per year is perfectly healthy.
🩺 Think of it this way: In a natural cycle, hormones drop at the end of the month — that drop triggers a period. With Oestra®, the one-day pause mimics this natural rhythm. If your body doesn’t need to shed the lining, you may not bleed — and that’s completely normal.
Oestra® vs. Birth Control
Birth Control | Oestra® |
Suppresses natural hormones | Restores bioidentical hormones |
Keeps estrogen & progesterone near zero | Supports natural ratios & balance |
Creates artificial pause state | Works with your body’s rhythm |
Goal: prevent ovulation | Goal: restore vitality, stability, & hormonal health |
A monthly bleed isn’t required for health. What matters is that your hormones are balanced and your body feels supported.
