How soon before intercourse should I apply the cream?
Four hours before is recommended.
Is my Oestra® formula based on my answers to the questionnaire?
Yes. While we can’t predict your exact optimal dose, we use your clinical history and symptoms to start with a dose that helps most women. We expect to adjust it based on how your body responds.
How do I transition from pills, patches, or pellets?
You can stop pills/patches and start Oestra® the same day. If using pellets, wait until they’ve worn off fully, then begin.
How do I use the applicator?
Some women prefer using their finger. Apply to the inner vaginal wall or rub into the surrounding tissue and underside of the labia. The hormones absorb well there too.
Can I travel with Oestra®?
Yes. Oestra® is not a liquid and meets TSA’s 2-ounce requirement. With the prescription label, TSA is required to let you carry it on.
What if I miss a day?
Apply it as soon as you remember. If you miss a day entirely, resume the next day. Oestra® works through consistency, not perfection.
When should I check in with the care team?
We recommend checking in around Weeks 4 and 8. Any time something feels off or you’re unsure about symptoms or timing, we’re here to support you.
After applying if some of it discharges or comes out, should I reapply?
No, there’s no need to reapply. Simply continue with your next scheduled dose the following day as usual. The cream is absorbed quickly and effectively, so even if some discharge occurs, your body has likely already received the intended dose.
