Getting Started with Oestra® for Perimenopause

This collection is designed for women navigating the hormonal shifts of perimenopause. It includes clear, stigma-free guidance on how Oestra® supports this life stage with bio-identical hormone enrichment.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Welcome to Oestra® - designed for women still cycling. Start anytime during your cycle and take daily as directed to address low moods, anxiety, irritability and fatigue and reduce symptoms like insomnia, heavy periods, brain fog, vaginal dryness & low libido. Most women notice improvements within 1–3 months. Stopping Oestra™ is recommended monthly, every 28 days, to have a period.

How Oestra® is different

Unlike standard HRT, Oestra® uses a carefully calibrated mix of bio-identical estrogen and progesterone—matching what your body naturally makes—to support whole-body wellbeing during perimenopause.

Made for Perimenopause

All-in-One Formula

Smarter Delivery

Unlike other HRT designed for post-menopausal women, Oestra® supports your body while you still have a cycle.

Oestra® restores all three essential hormones (estradiol and progesterone, with progesterone converting to testosterone) in the correct ratio, preventing the imbalances that can occur when taking them separately.

Applied vaginally , the cream is absorbed systemically for whole-body results. This method bypasses the liver , leading to more stable hormone levels and fewer side effects than oral or topical options.

Why vaginal delivery is a smart choice

Oestra® is a cream applied vaginally, which allows it to be absorbed directly into the bloodstream. This method bypasses the gut and liver, helping your hormones get where they’re needed faster and more effectively.

  1. Systemic and highly bioavailable • Vaginal delivery bypasses liver metabolism, allowing nearly full absorption of estradiol and progesterone—far better than oral (10-20%) or topical (3-20%). This leads to more stable hormone levels and better symptom control.

  2. More effective, fewer side effects • It delivers consistent results with fewer fluctuations and side effects. Hormone levels remain steady, improving your comfort and results. Clinical evidence—including 100+ studies—supports its effectiveness.

  3. Proven safety • Vaginal hormones don’t raise clotting risks or estrone levels, and they protect the uterine lining. Multiple clinical trials show
controlled absorption and a strong safety profile compared to oral forms.

  4. Endometrial protection • Vaginal progesterone uses the “first uterine pass effect” to deliver high local levels directly to the uterus, maximizing protection and turn over of the lining, while reducing risks tied to oral forms.

  5. Clinically validated • Multiple randomized trials confirm that vaginal estradiol and progesterone are safe, effective, and superior for
predictable hormone delivery and endometrial health.

How to use

How to apply:

  • Apply vaginally once daily, in AM or PM. One pump is the measured amount. Do not use any other amount.

  • Push down once on the top of the bottle until cream dispenses one pearl-sized dose. Shake the bottle if the cream doesn’t dispense after the first few pumps. This is to remove any potential air pockets.

  • Use your finger to apply to vaginal tissue, in the opening or underside of the labia (the mucosal tissue, not the skin).

  • Use and store at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Dispose of in the trash when empty or expired.

  • If you miss a dose, resume when you remember. Missed doses can result in a withdrawal bleed.

  • Stop on day 27 of your 28-day cycle to have a period (if you have a uterus and want to mimic your natural rhythm). Do not use while bleeding. You can resume again once bleeding has stopped, or once 2 days have passed and there is little to no bleeding.
Contact our care team if you don’t want to have a monthly period.

  • One pump lasts ~24 hours.

How Oestra® works

Oestra™ enriches your existing hormone levels rather than replacing them. This helps regulate menstrual cycles, improve sleep and mood, and support energy levels through a fluctuating hormonal landscape.

  • It is absorbed through the vaginal lining and goes into your bloodstream systemically.

  • It bypasses liver metabolism to lower the chance of making unwanted liver byproducts.

  • It keeps hormone levels steady and reliable.

  • It works throughout your whole body – not just the vaginal area.

Progesterone

Testosterone

Estradiol

FSH

Target levels for 1 pump/day:

  • Estradiol: 100-300 pg/mL
